The venue is the Széchenyi Hall of the Ludovika Main Building.
The Hall is one of the most impressive rooms in the Ludovika Main Building, which was named the Széchenyi Hall in 2016 to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the birth of Count István Széchenyi. Today, the hall is mainly used as a venue for special university events and conferences. The hall’s centrepiece is a chandelier, 6.5 metres high, 1.7 metres wide, made up of more than 4,000 parts and weighing over 500 kg, which has been in a very poor state of repair in the basement of the building for decades. After careful restoration, it is now back to its original glory.
