Knowledge Infrastructure in the Platform Economy
(Artificial Intelligence, Digital Skills and Creative Platform Work)
Online International Workshop, University of Public Service, Institute of the Information Society, Budapest
Among heavy health, social and economic impacts, the global COVID-19 has created an ‘infodemic’ phenomenon representing an unexpectedly high level of misinformation and fake news. The core aim of this international workshop is to diminish the simplistic and distrustful perceptions on the fast growing digital/platform economy. According many scholars digital economy is the key characteristic of the 21st century capitalism. The workshop organisers are convinced that the confirmed academic and business communities’ speakers may help to improve our systematic knowledge on such key ingredients of the digital economy as the artificial intelligence (AI), algorithmic management and platform work. In addition, the fight against ‘infodemic’ may help to design and support the evidence-based policy-making.
